12-Day Ayahuasca, Bobinsana & Huachuma Retreat in Peru

This 12-day Ayahuasca retreat in Peru is the most immersive expression of the Yachay Wasi Path, bringing together Ayahuasca, Bobinsana, and Huachuma in a broader exploration of healing and learning with the master plants of the Peruvian Amazon.

The Full Expression of the House of Medicine

The 12-Day Ayahuasca, Bobinsana, and Huachuma Retreat is the most immersive expression of the Yachay Wasi Path, the Path of the House of Medicine. Through additional time with the master plants, participants are invited into a broader encounter with healing and learning through three medicines that each bring their own qualities and teachings to the path.

Alongside Ayahuasca and the medicine of the heart offered by Bobinsana, this retreat introduces Huachuma, a master plant traditionally associated with presence, connection, and a wider way of seeing ourselves, others, and the natural world.

Together, these medicines create opportunities for healing and learning that unfold through ceremony, traditional practices, daily guidance from the shamans, and time spent in relationship with the Amazon rainforest and its rhythms.

The Medicines of the Heart and the Sky

Alongside Ayahuasca, the 12-Day Retreat brings together Bobinsana and Huachuma, two master plants that each offer their own qualities and teachings within the House of Medicine.

Bobinsana is traditionally associated with the heart and with qualities such as emotions, self-love, love for others, gentleness, and greater openness to life. For many people, time with Bobinsana creates opportunities to approach themselves and others with greater tenderness and care.

Huachuma is traditionally associated with presence, connection, and a wider way of seeing ourselves, other people, and the natural world. Through its teachings, many people experience opportunities to slow down, spend time in relationship with nature, and approach life with greater openness and perspective.

Together, Bobinsana and Huachuma broaden the work with Ayahuasca, creating opportunities to encounter the master plants through the medicines of the heart, presence, and a greater sense of connection and perspective.

A Complete Expression of the Yachay Wasi Path

For many people, the 12-Day Ayahuasca, Bobinsana, and Huachuma Retreat feels complete in itself. Through additional time with the master plants and the unique qualities of the three medicines, this path creates opportunities for healing and learning that unfold with greater spaciousness and continuity.

The meeting of Ayahuasca, Bobinsana, and Huachuma invites participants into a broader encounter with the medicines of the Peruvian Amazon, where the teachings of the heart, presence, and the natural world can be explored together within a single path.

Like all work with the master plants, there is no single way that this experience unfolds. Each person meets the medicines differently and each path reveals its teachings in its own time and manner.

Beyond the retreat

Continue Through the Takinuna Path

For many people, the 12-Day Ayahuasca, Bobinsana, and Huachuma Retreat feels complete in itself. For others, additional time with the master plants may awaken a desire to continue learning, healing, and exploring the medicines beyond the retreat.

For those who feel called to remain longer, the Taki Nuna Path offers opportunities to continue through healing and learning dietas. Through additional time, simplicity, and guidance from the shamans, some participants choose to deepen their encounter with particular master plants and continue cultivating the teachings that have begun to emerge during the retreat.

Like all paths with the master plants, there is no expectation that the work should continue beyond the retreat itself. The Takinuna Path simply offers another possibility for those who feel genuinely called to remain with the medicines for a longer period of time.
