Your Short Ayahuasca Retreat in Peru: Day-by-Day Healing Journey

Our short ayahuasca retreat is carefully designed to guide you through a complete healing process in just five days. Each day builds upon the previous one — combining sacred plant ceremonies, personalized guidance, and therapeutic support to help you open, release, and realign.

Day 1: Arrival and Orientation

You’ll arrive at our rainforest center to begin your short ayahuasca retreat in Peru, after lunch and before 3:00 PM. (we do not cross the river after dark). Once you’re settled, we begin with an orientation where you meet the team, connect with other participants, set your intentions and get prepared for the retreat.

Day 2: First Ceremony – Dosage and Safety

Your healing begins with a carefully measured dose of Ayahuasca. This first ceremony focuses on safety, helping us understand how your body reacts to the medicine. It gently introduces you to the plant spirit while clearing initial energetic blockages. Dosage is individually assessed to ensure a safe and grounded experience.

Day 3: Second Ceremony – Deep Inner Work + Integration

During the day we will hold the first integration group session where you’ll have the opportunity to explore your experience through sharing your experience, expressing it with art therapy and time in nature. With trust established, the second ceremony allows for deeper exploration. Ayahuasca may reveal emotional wounds, memories, or powerful visions.

Day 4: Rest, Nature & Integration

After two ceremonies in a row, rest is essential. This day is dedicated to resting, integration and treatments. We’ll start the day with another therapeutic group session to help process your journey so far. Then there will be plant treatments, according to what was revealed in the ceremonies, shamans may suggest some plant treatments that might help you in your process. In the afternoon, you can choose between guided rainforest walks, a boat tour, or quiet time for rest and reflection—whatever your body and spirit call for.

Day 5: Third Ceremony – Completion & Protection

As your short ayahuasca retreat in Peru nears completion, the final ceremony brings protection and closure.. The shamans use the arkana (a traditional energetic protection technique) to seal the healing work. This helps maintain the clarity and strength gained through the retreat and prepares you to give closure to your process.

Day 6: Farewell & Return to Iquitos

After breakfast, we accompany you back to Iquitos by boat and car. You’ll be dropped off at the airport or your hotel, carrying the seeds of transformation within you.
